ICT TRAINING CENTRE FOR POLICE FORCE OF INDIA

Cyber crimes and technology assisted crimes are increasing at a fast speed. The law enforcement agencies all over the World are unable to cope up with these modern crimes. There is an emergent need of providing good techno-legal training to police officers in India in the fields of cyber law, cyber forensics, cyber security, telecommunication laws, etc.

Perry4Law intends to empower the Indian Police and Police force belonging to other jurisdictions of the World with Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The aim is not only to modernise the police forces but also to empower them with good technology related trainings.

In its endeavours to modernise and strengthen police forces, Perry4Law would be supported by Perry4Law Techno-Legal Base (PTLB), Perry4Law Techno-Legal ICT Training Centre (PTLITC) and other Techno-Legal Segments of Perry4Law.

Together Perry4Law, PTLB and PTLITC may prove useful for various Mission Mode Projects under the National G-Governance Plan of Government of India and similar Plans and Projects in other countries. For instance, Perry4Law has been providing its suggestions and recommendations to all concerned for the proper implementation of Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) Project of India. It has already provided its suggestion for the prerequisites of successful implementation of CCTNS Project in India.

Similarly, Perry4Law has also provided its suggestions regarding National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID), Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), etc. In fact, a Centre for the protection of Human Rights in Cyberspace has been launched by Perry4Law to protect Civil Liberties of Indian netizens in cyberspace. Projects like CCTNS, NATGRID, UID, etc have the potential to violate Human Rights of Indian citizens hence it is important to implement them within the parameters prescribed by the Human Rights Centre of India.
